Love this podcast

Such a great listen! Can’t wait for more episodes. I listened to this on my AM run today and ran an extra mile just so I could finish the episode!!!

This show changed my life.

Ryan is the real deal. He really cuts through the clutter and conducts a great interview.

Incredible and relevant

TL;DR Trained is a smart podcast that reveals something real in most athletes and has personally helped me to a surprising degree.

Only two episodes in, I can tell that this podcast is nailing an informed and authentic dialogue that anyone can apply. They are often ideas that athletes may not actively think about or forget, and it's clear how knowledgeable the host and guests are in their conversations. In particular, the messages have been hitting me right as I have needed them:

For a little story, I'm a runner on a collegiate track club, and all summer I've been struggling (mostly on my own) to get back to my high school peak. With some health and motivation issues this summer, my efforts to get back on track have been met with a lot of pushbacks. I found the first episode after a bad run, and it helped remind me of why I enjoy running and how to make the most of each workout. The second with the Headspace inventor genuinely revealed the biggest obstacle in my daily life: a lack of focus and reflection and awareness of my thoughts. Principles as simple as "Your mind during performance is the same you bring home" and "if you don't feel like going on that run in the morning, that's just a thought, and you go on your run" are what I want to apply to my own daily life. So thank you for the standout content and I look forward to the next episodes, Nike!
