I'm back home from SETC and have Regional Theatre News
Back home and it's nice to be home but Knoxville was great. The town was very welcoming to all the conference attendees. Thanks for all the people that stopped by my table and especially those professors that bought the book, Treading the Boards. In today's episode three summer theatres announced 2019 seasons; an artistic director is retiring at the end of the '19-'20 season and a Texas theatre welcomes a new AD; and there are two articles I recommend you read about up & coming directors and a costume designer.

Terrific Addition to All Things Theatre
I really enjoy listening to Alison. She's enthusastic and approachable and in the know. I appreciate having a resource to add to the mix to help keep me abreast of what is going on in regional (and all other) theatre. I have used the print version of "Treading the Boards" for years. This rounds out my base of knowledge each season.
Doc
We all know how difficult breaking into The Business is, so why not take every advantage you can to help? "Treading the Boards" is an excellent way to gain insight and opportunities. Each issue has a wealth of information that does not exist in such a useful form elsewhere. And it is clear that Alison has developed this great resource with passion and dedication to the art. Bravo Alison!
Amazing Resource ... don't miss it...
This podcast is short, informative and to the point -- which I particularly love. I have the book, "Treading the Boards," and it is very helpful to have weekly updates. I'm better informed as a result. I really enjoy the segment "Something I had to share." I would never have known about the docu Tea with the Dames and I loved it.
