||CleanA Threefold Appeal, Part 1||As we begin a new study in Galatians, Pastor Ford will ask us how far will we go to help a brother or sister who has strayed from the truth of the Bible. What does it mean, really, to bring someone back to the truth, when they have forsaken and abandoned the way of grace and are going in the way of the law?||3/18/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanAsk Pastor Ford||We take a break from our normal programming line up so Pastor Ford can answer your questions about the Bible and the Christian life. The topics he’ll be addressing include why homosexuality is still considered a sin today and how to become more in tune with the Holy Spirit.||3/15/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanWhat's So Amazing About Grace?, Part 3||Grace saves us, shapes us, and then gives us the power to serve God. He gives us power to be able to do what we cannot do, so that He can use us to impact the lives of people and show them His grace. And because of His grace, we need to make sure He gets the glory out of our lives.||3/14/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanWhat's So Amazing About Grace?, Part 2||We’ll see today how the Christian life from start to finish is lived by grace. Grace converts us and tranforms us and that’s just a few of the reasons why it’s so amazing!||3/13/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanWhat's So Amazing About Grace?, Part 1||Grace is amazing and should be extremely important in our lives. Pastor Ford will explain that if what we’re doing isn’t being done by the grace of God, then it doesn’t really count with God. If who we are isn’t because of His grace, then God is not pleased with us, because we’re not living by His grace.||3/12/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanThe Opportunity of Opposition, Part 3||Today, Pastor Ford will share about how waiting is sometimes part of the opposition that actually leads to opportunity. So, as scripture encourages us, if we don’t become weary, then we will reap if we don’t faint. We need to give God time to bring about what He has planned and to prepare the opportunity He ultimately has for us.||3/11/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanTreasured Truth Weekend - All We Do Is Win, Win, Win, Part 5||As we continue to look at how we are victorious through Christ, Pastor Ford will remind us that we all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. That fact made us unqualified to come before a Holy God. But then Jesus gave us His name. And when He gave us His name, we became qualified. Because no longer do we have our own names, but now we can do everything in His name.||3/9/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanThe Opportunity of Opposition, Part 2||Sometimes, when we realize that our opportunity is disguised as opposition, we need to change our plans. But many of us aren’t willing to do that, so we end up succumbing to the opposition instead of finding the opportunity.||3/8/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanThe Opportunity of Opposition, Part 1||Satan will often use opposition to discourage belivers. But opposition is just opportunity that is cleverly disguised. We’ll see today how the Apostle Paul realized that his opportunity was designed as opposition so he would become discouraged. And we’ll see how to combat that same strategy that Satan tries to use against us.||3/7/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanA Table for You with Your Haters in View, Part 2||God can turn awful into awesome. He can turn set-backs into set-ups and problems into platforms. He makes pain become provision. However, there are some blessings that God will give us, but only in the presence of our enemies. So, we need to understand what He’s doing in the process, while He is blessing us and showing them.||3/6/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanA Table for You with Your Haters in View, Part 1||How do you handle it, when people hurl accusations at you? When they question your motivation and when they try to intimidate you? Pastor Ford will explain how we must learn to deal with “haters” in our lives and how God deals with them on our behalf.||3/5/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanHow to Handle Your Valleys, Part 3||Pastor Ford will share some practical advice about how to handle the valleys we all inevitably encounter in life. He’ll explain that in order to get through the valleys, we must have the right attitude, awareness and assurance. ||CleanTreasured Truth Weekend - All We Do Is Win, Win, Win, Part 4||The reason why all we do is win, win, win is because out of the seven and a half billion people in the world today, God chose each of us as believers to be part of His family. He chose us! So, after considering that amazing truth, one might then ask, how could we not win?||3/2/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanHow to Handle Your Valleys, Part 2||We need to acknowledge that valleys are a part of the Christian walk. We’re going to encounter them because they’re inevitable. Valleys are also impartial, because they don’t care who we are and they don’t consult our schedules. So, Pastor Ford reminds us today that we better just be prepared for them.||3/1/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanHow to Handle Your Valleys, Part 1||If you want to get to a greener pasture, you sometimes have to go through the valley to get there. There’s no escaping the path through the valley. It’s the best way, and often it’s the only way you can go. Pastor Ford will explain to us why on today’sTreasured Truth.||2/28/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanFor His Name's Sake, Part 3||Just like a shepherd goes before his sheep to lead them, God goes before His children and leads them in the paths He has for them. So today, Pastor Ford will share about how this simple phrase from Psalm 23—“He goes before”—holds so much meaning for believers.||2/27/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanFor His Name's Sake, Part 2||We don’t have to love what God is doing, but we do have to trust what He’s doing. As God leads us, He sometimes makes us lie down (metaphorically), just like a shepherd would make his sheep lie down. Why? Because He’s able to give us things when we’re lying down that we won’t be able to receive when we’re standing up.||2/26/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanFor His Name's Sake, Part 1||What does it mean when the Psalmist says, “He maketh me to lie down”? God has a special plan for each of us and sometimes that involves making us to stop, lie down, and rest in green pastures. Find out more about what this means on today’s Treasured Truth.||2/25/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
||CleanTreasured Truth Weekend - All We Do Is Win, Win, Win, Part 3||Pastor Ford will explain today that if we are praying for something that is not attached to the purpose of God, then we shouldn’t expect it to happen. The questions we ought to ask when we want something from God are these—will this glorify the person of Jesus Christ? Will this fulfill the purpose of Jesus Christ?||2/23/2019||Free||View in iTunes|
I Love Pastor Ford’s Teaching
In 2018 stumbled across Pastor Ford’s sermon one day while driving and listening to Moody Radio and I’ve been hooked ever since. I even went back and started listening to his early sermons. The way he teaches the Word is great. He teaches in a way that is simple and easy to understand. Thank you Pastor Ford and your ministry and Moody Radio. May God continue to bless you all.
I have been listening to Pastor Ford since middle school (yep, since the old theme song!). Pastor Ford does not pull any punches. He does not compromise and always tells the truth. People often forget to couple grace with truth or truth with grace. Pastor Ford does just that, and not to mention with humor.
Like other pastors, I just wish he wouldn’t talk about the Apostle Peter in a disrespectful way sometimes. I don’t know why so many pastors do this, but Peter is one of the greatest apostles to have ever lived. He was also human, just like the rest of us. But he was the rock upon which Christ ultimately built his church. He lived a life that many of us will never be strong enough to live, which includes those who make fun of him.
I have been really trying to bond and build a better relationship with Jesus and I find it difficult for me to find a preacher and church that I can totally understand and relate to, I feel bad, I live near Chicago and totally been missing out of this wonderful pastor! I’m grateful for moody radio and these podcast! I can’t wait to visit his church in the near future! Thanks :)
