Description

Truce uses journalistic tools to explore Christianity and the church. What is our history? Where are we going? Where have we been? How do Christian impact politics, culture, racial issues, and the economy and how do those things impact the church? Truce is hosted by Chris Staron, writer/ director of the films "Bringing up Bobby" and "Between the Walls", and author of "Cradle Robber".

Journalism done right

Looking forward to this project very much! Intriguing, thought provoking, all while having diligent and honest conversation.

Accessible to non-Christians too

I am zero per cent christian, and I have listened to and liked exactly 2 podcasts in my whole life. I am now adding to that list of 2, Truce, a "podcast that examines issues within Christianity that impact our culture and our witness." Listen, I am just as surprised as you are. It really is EXCELLENT... if you are human, regardless of religious affiliation, who is interested in history and sociology, this podcast will be interesting to you. It looks at christianity from a reflective point of view and not from a preaching point of view, and that makes it listenable to someone who is not religious, atheist, or antitheist, in my opinion.

Easy to listen to and understand !

Chris does an amazing job of delivering this content in an easy to listen to and informative way. I didn’t know half the stuff he was talking about before listening, but after listening I have a very good understanding of the content and what it means. Awesome podcast!
