Plz update

Please, new episodes. Yours was the best pop music podcast.

Great for Music Nerds

I discovered this podcast last year and I loved it. The guys take the essence of a pop song and study tone, similiar music, patterns etc... It's a bummer it hasn't been on in a while.

Good podcast overall but missing something

I appreciate the theme of the most recent episode about Work by Rihanna, but I felt like I was missing something the entire time I was listening. As someone who is very unfamiliar with dancehall and the other genres they mentioned, my ears haven't been trained to hear the differences between tropical house and the dancehall-inspired music they kept talking about. I wish they had spent more time talking about what makes dancehall dancehall and what differentiates the dancehall-inspired music from tropical house. I felt kind of inadequately ignorant each time they said it was so obvious that Work was dancehall-inspired when, instead, I think they should have been breaking down the music like they do in some of the other episodes (and like they did briefly with the beats in the chorus) and teaching me about it. Isn't the whole point of listening to this podcast to learn about these things and become a little less ignorant? I'm so uncomfortably curious now.
