Great perspective on parenting!

There are so many "mommy" podcasts out there, that it was great to run across this one from the dad perspective, and what a great perspective it is! The hosts are charismatic and delightful, and the conversation free-flowing and honest. Great commentary on the joys, struggles, and hilarity that comes with being a dad. Looking forward to hearing more!

Now *this* is just fun

I'm not a parent. I'm not a man. Yet I love this podcast. The guys seems to genuinely enjoy their conversations, and they mesh well together. Their love for their kids is apparent and that's what a parenting podcast should really convey (even though we know that some days are just harder than others).
Disclaimer: I started listening simply because I *knew of* one dad and his kids through internet infamy. Now I'm interested in all of their families.

Earlier episodes very good

I used to really enjoy this podcast. The earlier episodes were just what I needed as a first-time Dad who was looking for advice or commiseration. It is out of respect for the helpfulness of those early episodes that I'm giving three stars. Because these guys have lost the plot, and the current iteration of the show is not worth three stars.

It's bad enough that they only talk about their kids about every other episode these days (the rest is techie discussions or, lately, the election). Speaking of the election, though, the last episode before the election was over the top just bashing one candidate and his supporters. I'm not one of them, but it's not what I'm tuning in for.

Then, the latest episode consisted of the hosts alternating between techie talk and heavy-sighing their depressed way through a step-by-step recounting of their election night "nightmare."

Enough already. Unsubscribed.
