Customer Reviews

This podcast lights my F-I-R-E!

Why would you listen to a podcast about a series that ended 25 years ago? If you have to ask that question, you're not a Twin Peaks fan. Not only does this podcast offer lots of information (ratings, little known facts, ect) about each episode, but it offers two different points of view. Ben is the die hard Twin Peaks expert with the great tidbits about what wasn't included in the episodes, why things were included, and so much more. Bryon is the newbie, watching each episode in order for the first time. His fresh speculations offer an interesting point of view that often make me shout in agreement "Yes! I felt that way too!" and "Oh buddy, just wait till you get to episode___!". The two hosts balance each other out to make a perfect episode-by-episode guide for the Twin Peaks novice or expert.

Gods decisions

I just wish they took better notes. They are constantly forgetting what happened when and its really annoying.

The perfect way to prepare for Season III, but be prepared to get lost in the weeds a bit

This podcast goes episode-by-episode through the original Twin Peaks series, providing a blow-by-blow (but spoiler-free, up to the featured episode) account of not only plot twists but also detailed notes about that week’s director, writer, Nielson ratings, dialog or scenes that were cut out of the script. These dense episode-by-episode podcasts are interspersed with shows that interview various Twin Peaks performers, production team members, pundits and fans. The podcast episodes can be longer than the actual running time of the show. Some reviewers complain of the “disorganization” of the show’s hosts, but for me, this is all part of the fun of the show, all part of getting lost in the weeds with them and sharing their obsession with the show. It was especially enjoyable to watch Bryon work his way (unspoiled) to the big reveal of Laura’s killer in the second season. And in general fun to listen to these two friendly guys banter about the show (the good the bad and the ugly). Their personalities grow on you, I feel like they’re part of my social world now. I guess they are in a way, through Twitter: and they are very responsive on fan Twitter. But I do hope to meet them in person some day. Probably not for the curious or casual, but for die-hard Peakies, the most thorough podcast going. Thanks to Ben & Byron for all their hard work.
