TOWL 1.06 | The Last Time
What a pleasure it's been to reconnect with each other, our love for Rick and Michonne, Andy and Danai and you all. We've never had a tv viewing experience like this one and we doubt we ever will again. How lucky for us that we only support what? Winners.
Yeah, we had to talk about the episode as a whole because that's what we were presented with, but thinking back on the lives we've lived alongside and through these characters? We can only be grateful.

TOWL 1.05 | Become
We love a man who makes his intentions clear and loves his wife using anything and everything that's made available to him. Michonne, we tip our hat to you.
The less said about that redemption hour, the better. Unfortunately, we didn't take our own advice and talked a lot about it 😂 Most of the talk was questions, so maybe you can help us out with it! Just one more episode left. Can you even believe it?

TOWL 1.04 | What We
Aren't you glad that you're alive to witness a time such as this? The much anticipated and honestly underhyped episode of The Ones Who Live is delivered to us by executive producer, creator, writer, showrunner and actress Danai Gurira. And those are only her multi-hyphenates for this episode. Everything came crashing together as Michonne and Rick finally had to grapple with the people they were, the people they are, what they want and if they will still be them once they walk out of the cushiest timeout ever.

TOWL 1.03 | Bye
This show just keeps delivering! What a feeling to be excited by The Walking Dead content again. We almost don't know what to do with ourselves!
The closest Michonne can bring herself to being a B is an A-. Some lamps cannot be hidden under a bushel! Meanwhile, the past and the present comes crashing into Rick as he both can't stay away from Michonne but also can't reconcile her being in this place with him. There are also the pesky issues of Jadis still buzzing around and Thorne becoming increasingly suspicious of "Dana." Sounds like Rick and Michonne might need a timeout from all this scrutiny.

TOWL 1.02 | Gone
Two episodes down already!
While last week was all about how Rick spent his seven years away from his family, this week picks up right where The Walking Dead left Michonne -- helping two survivors hop along to catch up with their Oregon Trail community, and meeting an immediate ride-or-die friend in a man named Nat. As if Michonne wasn't going to have enough reason to hate CRM for kidnapping her man, they engage in brutal chemical warfare against Michonne's group. Just when it seems as if all hope is gone and Michonne decides that she has to give up the search for Rick, he quite literally falls out of the sky into her lap. Unfortunately, they're barely able to process this miracle before they are thrust into another life or death situation. Michonne allows herself to be captured to give her and Rick time to figure out an escape. Though our feelings on the episode differed from each other in many key parts, we're quite ready for these spy games to begin. Even if it means we have to deal with Jadis again.

TOWL 1.01 | Years
Hello friends. It is a pure miracle we've gotten this far, in both the #Richonne fandom and also us, Melissa and Kia, remembering how any of this stuff works after a Rick Grimes length hiatus away from it all. But just like Andy, Danai and Gimple, we keep our promises and when we said we'd be back when Rick was, WE'RE BACK NOW THAT RICK IS!!!!! And what a reunion it was. From the opening scene with our man's eyes full of tears we were immediately ready to take this journey with Michonne and Rick because a) we only support winners and b) they are the ones who live.
And what a journey it was: a secret city, a secret army, a secret plan, a secret mission, secret desires. Secrets on secrets on secrets! Let's discuss them all!

Love it
My love for the Walking Dead has diminished, but my love for Two Dead Chicks never will. Consistently hilarious and insightful while keeping it real about the state of things regarding the show
Edit: I’ve returned to this podcast recently and I am so grateful for it. It feels so good to laugh with these ladies.
It was cool it wasn’t
This pod was a nice find as I started watching TWD so late after it went off air but my gawwwd did these ladies get insufferable. Watching a tv show and taking it so literally has to be exhausting. I’m surprised they lasted so long watching a show they hated. It was a fun listen until it wasn’t.
Good but definitely falls off toward the end.
I really enjoyed this podcast and the hosts’ dynamic with each other. As the episodes go on, you can clearly hear the hosts lose their love for the show. It’s sad, and bit frustrating. Really wish I could have finished listening but it wasn’t meant to be.
