Who are we? Why do we act, think and feel the way we do? How can we become our best, most authentic selves? Welcome to Typology, a podcast that explores the mystery of the human personality and how we can use the Enneagram typing system as a tool to become our best, most authentic selves. Hosted by author, speaker and counselor, Ian Morgan Cron, Typology features interviews with thought leaders from every sphere of life, including renowned Enneagram authors and teachers, psychologists, theologians, artists, business leaders, neuroscientists, philosophers, and more. In other words, we’ll be talking with people who are trying to become the best version of themselves in the world.

Customer Reviews

This podcast is really hit-or-miss. Sometimes they have really wise, insightful guests, and then sometimes they have white guys saying that “the black angel emoji really represents them best.” I’m unsubscribing because I’m tired of hearing from the host’s Nashville musician friends. Stuck it out for awhile, but the content quality is just too inconsistent, and I need the space on my phone.

Good but gimmicky; glad for the enneagram content!

I learned the enneagram from Suzanne Stabile and Ian and loved their podcast, The Road Back to You. I find the Typology brand gimmicky which is why it’s a 3 star show for me. I wish there hadn’t been an assessment created, seemingly to get an email list and funding-Patreon base started. I learned the enneagram as a oral tradition, and it seems dismissive of the wisdom’s logic to launch an introductory assessment rather than encourage people to just listen and learn. The interviews have been great and I’m so happy to hear them, just wish the project was something I felt I could support and relate to more, as I’m not interested in the way Ian pushes this self-branded route to learning the enneagram.

Had to be a trump supporter hater.

Was a fan until he went political. Ian and his guest stated that all people that claimed to follow Christ but voted for Trump were basically going against what Jesus would do and acting out of fear. Being an Enneagram expert does not make you an expert on love and Christianity. The arrogance of Ian to place a group of people that he knows nothing about into a box is enough to make me unsubscribe and is exactly what he claimed Trump did.
