Multiple Voices on a Variety of Horror

United Nations of Horror is a relatively new podcast, but has quickly climbed up my list of favorite listens. With a number of rotating co-hosts from different nations, the provide a variety of viewpoints with each episode. The hosts are smart, funny, & articulate, providing thoughtful analysis and unexpected insights. Each show is supplemented by stand-alone segments about everything from TV Terrors to book reviews. Especially appreciated is the respect the hosts show each others’ viewpoints, and the fact that while each of them takes the subject matter seriously, the podcast as a whole is brimming over with a sense of humor, and the love they all have for the genre.

A fantastic and thoughtful horror podcast!

UNH puts a lot of time and effort into it’s podcast and the community around it. The podcast itself is fantastic with tons of great information and thoughtful reviews. The international “cast” adds an interesting dimension as well as you get to hear how films and television programs were received in other countries direct from the source.
Their Facebook page community is respectful and fun as well and remains an active source of content while waiting for new shows to come out.
A-List material!

Fantastic Cross-Continental Coverage

Full disclosure! I'm an occasional contributor to this show. I produce the TV TERROR segments that pop up from time to time, but I wanted to leave a review of the work of the full-time hosts. If you love theme-based roundtable discussions, add this to your rotation of podcast listening. The hosts do their homework and it shows. Each topic is given thoughtful treatment. And there's truly an international flavor as the name suggests. Most of the folks on the show are from the US and Britain, with other contributors from Germany. The total effect is a well-rounded look at some of your favorite horror films, books, and other media. Subscribe and give it a try!
