UnLearned is a bi-weekly podcast focused on unlearning harmful narratives taught to us about blackness, womanhood, sexuality, and religion. Through our show, we hope to deconstruct these power structures and to create a space of relearning. As we share our stories, we hope that you will share yours. Together we can show that blackness means many things, that it is comprised of many stories, and that many voices make our choir.

So real

This is what I've been craving in podcasts. Not scripted, honest reactions. Self-aware, woke and informed commentary. It makes me feel less alone to know that there are content creators out there who share my views and are so thoughtful and informed.

Aptly named

I'm a relatively new listener, but I'm a fan already. Unlearning is so necessary in this country and these times we're living in, so I really value a podcast aimed at doing just that. If you need to hear people talking about current events in context of history, with a side of laughing-so-you-don't-cry and plenty of righteous anger, this is a good option. As a white person, I'm not really sure this podcast is really for me, maybe more for other black people in a sort of therapeutic, let's-process-this-together kind of way, but I think that's a good thing, and these perspectives are very important to hear and listen to anyway. I'm glad it's here, y'all are doing good work.

Uneducated echos

It’s one thing if you have a difference of opinions but to just ignore actual facts and history is insulting and honestly harmful to good people that just want to know “the” truth (not “your” truth)
