Great Podcast but...

TUAW is the best website for apple and the podcast is great too. However, I really wish they would work on getting their audio consistent. I listen to most my podcasts in the car. When I listen to TUAW I have to keep one hand on the volume at all times. You can barely hear the host so you crank up the volume then someone chimes in and blows your speakers. I would think they could somehow make the audio consistent.

Some people edit their podcasts, they don't.

I listened to my first episode (#39) and it was the worst sounding podcast I've ever heard. It was glitchy and had minutes of silence in the middle. It would have sounded better if it had been recorded on a PC.

Great personalities, horrible quality.

I read TUAW all the time. I love Cristina Warren, and Schramm; and when Erica Sadun was on she had some of the best tips for sophisticated use of apple hardware. But, the "live" aspect of this is killing me. I appreciate they are trying to do something "different" but a lot of people (Leo Laporte etc) have live streams and still manage to get their audio straight. I think they consciously choose this "ad hoc" style. The technical requirements of editing aren't beyond them. But, to all listeners out there, there are more sophisticated choices and more interactive communities out there with better content. I want to come back TUAW, but until I can listen to you guys without every show having 5 minutes of people getting kicked off or COMPLETE silence I just can't do it.
