The Unpolished Podcast is a place where we pull back the curtain and get real about what it takes to survive the early stages of building a business while managing the chaos of motherhood. The internet is flooded with people telling you how they “made it” but their day to day trials and triumphs seem to get edited down to a few lines. We can’t yet tell you how we did it, but we can tell you how we are doing it--the honest, glorious, messy truth of it. As solo entrepreneurs, we don’t have the benefit of teams or co-workers, so we are creating our own community of women who get it--who are in it with us. We want to be inspired, and we want to be reminded that there are others struggling and conquering right alongside us. We are starting a new kind of conversation. We hope you’ll join us.

Turning off the highlight reel and tuning in to Unpolished!
I am a freelancer and podcast junkie. I love hearing the interviews of people who have found success, the encouraging words and female empowerment. What has been missing in my feed though, is a nuts and bolts account of what I'm actually experiencing as I navigate being an entrepreneur. I'm not sure whether successful business owners gloss over the nitty gritty because they think we just want to hear the "Steps 1-10 to be successful" stuff, they're just glad it's behind them and basking in the glow of having made millions or maybe they just didn't bother documenting the tough feelings. Enter Unpolished. Thank you, Sarah and Stacy for sharing your (our!) journey toward living a fulfilling and financially viable life with all the ups and downs included.
real and relatable
I love the realness of this podcast. As an entreprenuer, it's so refreshing to hear others struggling with the same issues I struggle with in silence. It's real and relatable. The two hosts have a great chemistry. I also love that these podcasts are short and sweet - it makes it easy to listen to them when I have a quick second. Can't wait to see what else these two do!
I feel understood
When I am listening to this podcast I kinda feel like I’m sitting on a couch chatting with good friends. However these conversations have me feeling energized, inspired, understood and seen. The episode topics are relevant to me on the lots of levels from motherhood to business to navigating emotions and thoughts. I feel myself experiencing these ah-ha moments. And also this understanding that I’m not alone. Sarah and Stacy are unapologetically figuring life out with each episode and doing so with witty commentary, authentic advice and powerful wisdom. I’m tuning in because their podcast supports me in getting clear about what my future looks like and how to find ease in my now.
