CBC Radio presents the stories and misadventures of Dave, the owner of the "Vinyl Cafe", the world's smallest record store, where the motto is "We may not be big, but we're small." The show also features Dave's wife, Morley, their two children, Sam and Stephanie and assorted friends and neighbours.
||CleanVinyl Cafe Holiday Special||Christmas was a big deal at The Vinyl Cafe. It started way back in 1996. Here's Stuart’s final holiday special, recorded in Thunder Bay, Ontario, at the very last show that Stuart performed before he passed away in February 2017.||12/15/2017||Free||View in iTunes|
An Excellent Addition from CBC Radio
These are very funny stories that can be enjoyed by the whole family. They are perfect for those who enjoy Garrison Keillor and his stories from A Prairie Home Companion. Told before a live audience, the stories revolve around Dave, who owns a used record store called The Vinyl Cafe, and his wife and children. Highly recommended!
Laugh out loud!
I love these stories. I'm so excited they are now podcast. I'm a Canadian living in the US and have missed tuning in weekly. Of course, Dave and Morely's hilarious situations are never as funny as when Stuart McLean reads them himself. Enjoy!
I love Dave and Morley
I am so excited as well. I am also a Canadian living in the U.S. I remember sitting it the kitchen listening to Dave and Morley stories on Sunday afternoons. This brings all the warm funny moments back to me. I am so happy they are on podcast now. Yeah i tunes
