Essential Reporting, Great Entertainment
Voice of San Diego is the only news organization that has the power to sway my opinion(s). Their reporting is intelligent and objective without being humorless or droll. Their staff are young, vibrant, and give the impression that they really do care about the issues that they're reporting on. This podcast is as great a listen as their website and magazine are great reads (read: VERY). Getting their products for free is a total steal: take full advantage of it.
Be sure to make a donation via VoiceofSanDiego.org when you can. San Diego needs VOSD and VOSD needs our generous donations.
Post San Diego Political Podcast around
Great investigative reporting without the usual slant. Wish more news agencies were like this. It would keep the politicians on their toes.
Hottest Political Podcast in SD!
Scott Lewis, Caty Green, and Andy Keatts spit hot fire every week. Dopest podcast on the street. Sometimes I'm bumpin the latest episode with my homies in the car and they're like 'wth are you listening to this ain't no banger.' But it's all good cause I'll be laughing along with VOSD and reacting to the topics on all this nerdy political stuff my homies should care about.
But foreals, listening to VOSD makes me miss working and being directly involved in local/state politics. I stay connected to the environment that kick-started my career through VOSD coverage. Scott is hilarious, I can listen to this guy talk all day, he's got that radio voice swag. Caty's dope, she can hold it down when Scott's out and her haircut is hella dope. Andy's cool too.
One thing about them is that they're not afraid to hold their guests feet to the fire. They won't throw softballs to their guests all day when the topic/debate is hot, especially Scott.
The podcast is smooth and flows well. They don't get hung up in mid sentence going 'uhh' and 'umm' all the time like other podcasts I've passed up on. They're good at what they do.
Keep it up VOSD, people out there care about and love what y'all do. Aye I'm tryna get a shout out too tho.
