Myth of Earth Mama

Did not enjoy this episode, very negative unnessary whining and bashing on Michael Pollen, and I am a woman/mama. When you started in on “why is local necessarily better”, I hung up the podcast. Sorry but in spite of being a feminist, your group did not make any valid points that I could relate to.

Fantastic

A great show! Terrific conversations from really smart people

Who is this podcast for?

I don't think the creators of this podcast have asked themselves question #1: Who is our audience?

Is it scientists? Is it their scientist friends? Is it lay people with an interest in climate change?

As a lay person, I wanted this to be an engaging podcast that would teach me something new without making me feel like I'm being read to from an academic journal. But many of these episodes sound as though someone just lift a recorder running during a climate scientist conference. There is no effort to connect with a listener outside the profession. There is so much jargon.

Please, bring in someone with a radio background, or a journalism background, anyone skilled at interviewing and storytelling.
