Description

A weekly audio tour of the counter-cultural West, visiting obscure moments in musical history along the way. History lessons and readings, New Age visionaries, mid-'60s folk rock, psychedelic meanderings, poetry and sound collages, art/synth and post punk, ethno-honky jamz. Each week special. Host Erik Bluhm was the editor of Great God Pan magazine (“the Champion of Californiana”) through the ‘90s and West Coast Fog may be seen as an aural extension of that venture.

Thanks for making this show into a podcast. I love love love WCF!

Where it's at

West Coast Fog is where it's at. "Good Time" Erik brings what you've been seeking. This is the freaky frequency you need. I would give it a million stars but they only let you go to five. The show however, goes all the way!

Fog in my brain

This show completely rules, the music featured speaks to me on a deep level. I have heard jams here and there especially on Tony Coulters show on WFMU, but the focus here makes the show stand apart. Between this and the Avant Ghetto my radio is all set.
