Fun Waste of Time

If listening to a group of semi-informed individuals talk over one another about important issues in an joking and sometimes incoherent manner is your preferred method of absorbing ideas, then this show will appeal. Probably better to listen to live so you can comment in real time than via podcast. An alternative would be to get your own group of friends together and discuss hot news topics - then you might hear your own opinions out loud. This show succeeds as a popularity contest for news, but is that something really needed?

Very funny & weirdly informative!

I feel like if you are tired of the repetitiveness in shows like The Daily Show, stuff like this can take their place for you.
Less repetitive, more honest and spontaneous.
Definitely worth giving a shot and listening to a few full episodes.

Like NPR except funny

I can't give a better review than by saying that this reminds me of an equivalent NPR show except the gloves are off because it's podcast only and not publicly broadcast.

It's great that they have guests that fall in the humorist/journalist category because those people are eager to speak their mind and know that they only get the best out of themselves by seeking the truth.

Josh is a great host and puts a funny twist on making fun of public opinion.
