Fun show!

When you listen to this show, it feels like you are listening to friends talk. I laugh a lot and I always end the show in a better mood than when I started it. I have been learning a lot about different movie/tv series and truly enjoy their opinions on many things. Thanks for helping me on my long commute!

My new running playlist.

First of all, I may or may not be biased. Lindsey is one of my best friends in the world and I love her to pieces. However, there has never been a time that we haven't been honest with each other. Going in to lisening to this already knowing how different my film taste can be from Lindsey's, I was not expecting to love it so much. After listening to every episode available on iTunes I learned that not only was my taste quite different from Lindsey's, I also don't have much in common with Richard OR Melanie! But also, who the f*** gives a sh*t? The experience of listening to these three discuss film and books, etc. feels as though one of my best friends didn't totally move a thousand miles (*insert Vanessa Carlton piano melody*) away. I always learn new and interesting things from each of them about films I wouldn't typically watch myself, which turns into much appreciated encourangement to expand my movie watching horizons. What's the best time and/or place to listen, you (I) ask? Surprisingly, while working out. I swear to Jesus Leto, it's better than a motivational pop music playlist. Try it. Love it. You're welcome.

A Great Movie Podcast That Deserves More Attention!!!

What I Watched Last Night is a fantastic podcast about movies that I feel is very underrated. The three hosts, Lindsey, Richard, and Melanie, all have great personalities and play off each other in a way that makes the show that much more enjoyable to listen too. As a fellow podcaster, one thing I always like to keep in mind when doing a show with someone else is that chemistry is one of the major keys to success. If you don’t get along with the other co-hosts or can’t play off of them very well then I feel it’s a bust. Not at all the case with WIWLN, these three have fantastic chemistry with each other. The topics are well thought out and all of the conversations feel very natural, pretty much like the conversations you would have with friends. I also really love when they talk about movies that were made before 1975, something I don’t see a majority of movie podcasts get into. I highly recommend this show and I would love to see it continue to grow and get more attention!
