Well produced and professional sounding

What Should I Read Next is a podcast about finding the right book for the right person. PROS : Excellent sound quality. Friendly hostess. Intellectual discussion without sounding nerdy. Always one host + one guest, so no roundtable chaos. Episodes released weekly. She sticks to the subject of the podcast and doesn't waste your time with personal life stories like so many other shows. CONS : Not much to complain about here. Ummm... She'll use the word "visceral" a bit too often for my taste, but that's just a personal pet peeve. I sometimes lose track of the name of the book they are talking about. CONCLUSION : If you are interested in reading and want some ideas on what to read next, then absolutely give this podcast a try. It's quick, to the point, and professional sounding. SUGGESTIONS : When discussing a book, mention the title at the beginning of the conversation and also at the end so we don't have to rewind to catch the name. Also, I'd love to hear a show where you find a book suggestion for someone who *isn't* an avid reader (classics and such). Lastly, I'd like to get a quick, five minute follow up on how your previous guests liked your suggestions *after* they read the book. Five stars (rare from me cuz I'm a grouch). 04/20/16

Love It!

Had never listened to a podcast before and have found myself listening to all the back issues of this one and not being able to wait till the next one comes out! I've added lots of books to my list to read! LOVE IT!

Great podcast that needs a more diverse mental field

I love MMD and enjoy listening to Anne and her guests on this podcast, but I feel there needs to be a more diverse pool from which she chooses her guests. She has welcomed guests onto the show in different stages of their lives and different ethnic backgrounds, but I feel that all of these people have too similar tastes in reading; they are all writers or book bloggers of the Christian faith. As someone who appreciates books with intense action, that explore science, or that examine different religions or beliefs, I feel my interests are not well represented in this podcast.
