Very helpfull stories shared by people living with serious conditions
Fantastic podcasts where people share in depth their stories about living with serious chronic conditions and sharing experiences, tips and advise that is very helpfull for others.
Coming back from the brink
One interview is with someone who has the early stages of diabetes. He discovers scary symptoms and is told by his doctor that insulin treatment is coming. He makes up his mind to do something about it, namely start comprehensive diet changes and regular exercising. What I particularly like about this interview is that a positive mind set has helped turn the problem around into something he and his doctor can now handle. Hope and determination made a difference.
Other interviews continue in the same vein but with differences of medical severity and personalities of different individuals. One person has a lung problem and uses oxygen, the next concerns a skull based tumor with after surgery complications, and another concerns ulcerative colitis. Brave people who have found a way to offset the disadvantages of their illnesses.
Uplifting and informative interviews.
