Finally!!!

The Obama administration has listened! After scouring iTunes for the past 2 months, I have finally found Robert Gibb's White House Press Briefings for President Obama. I am so glad that I can finally hear about the administration's views directly from the source, as opposed to it being reported secondhand. Plus, it's in video format, a step up from the audio-only podcasts of the Bush administration's press briefings. Now if only they'd categorize this with Obama's weekly address so it'd be easier to find.

Better than nothing, but room for improvement

At least they are finally putting the White House Press Briefings back on iTunes. After a few months of nothing, we now get the “improved” video podcasts, which are not necessarily an improvement over the way the previous administration did it. There is often an unwelcome delay in posting and the files are unnecessarily huge. There should be an audio only version as the video is seldom interesting once you see what color necktie Robert L. Gibbs is wearing. ***there is now an audio-only version, so I've added a star***

A Terrific Public Service

Everyone has thew right to know what their political leaders are doing. In this podcast, the White House Press Secretary answers questions from reporters about what the US President is doing. Whether you're Democrat or Republican, it's great to keep informed and hear what the White House has to say. I listen to each episode, and have really learned a lot about the Obama presidency. Will continue when a new administration takes over.
