Who Raised You? Podcast is a conversation between Karen (Jia Lian) Yang and Treasure Shields Redmond. Karen (she/they) is a bisexual 2nd generation Taiwanese American and a trained social worker-minister. Treasure (she/they) is a straight Black American poet, and entrepreneur/escapee from the Academy. As we explore how culture, family, and intersecting identities pave our way toward liberation, we want to know: Who Raised You? We’re curious and somewhat irritated. Sit down. We have lots to talk about.

Fantastic podcast, every episode has valuable wisdom in it, from perspectives that are sadly lacking in media - people of color, midwestern, female.
Every episode something magical happens
Treasure and Karen and their guests have the most real, relaxed conversations - your guard goes down and you feel like you're listening to people shoot the breeze and then - something magical happens and someone speaks deep wisdom and full truth. EVERY episode this happens. I keep thinking they can't get better - but every conversation gets there. This podcast calls for response! please keep the beauty coming.
