We all have a pesky, self-critical voice that's a real jerk. AKA, the "How to Hate Yourself" voice. Left in the dark, it's super scary. But dragged into the light, it's pretty hilarious. Laura House (comedian and meditation teacher) talks to guests about their "How to Hate Yourself" voice. So we can all laugh at it. Part 2 is "How to (not) Hate Yourself" where we focus on solutions. I'll even teach meditation and you can meditate right along with me. Come for the convo, stay for the meditation. Or the opposite. Whatever you need. "How to Hate Yourself" is also a monthly stand-up show at the Hollywood Improv. And you'll often hear clips from the live show. *This is a rebrand of "Meditate with Laura House." We still do that, plus other good stuff.

Customer Reviews

Laura is great

Laura is very smart and opening the world up to spirituality in a really accessible way that everyone will appreciate. She's also very funny. :)

Great meditation podcast

Laura House is the genuine deal when it comes to meditation. She tells you how to do it without all the trappings usually associated with it. My only wish is that the sound quality was better. This is important information, give it the sound quality it deserves!

Meditation IS for everyone

...and this podcast is how I learned that. Laura House is a super funny, smart and talented comedian. As a bonus, her podcast offers a real approach to those of us who may have thought meditation was beyond our grasp. I first saw her live at LA Podfest Festival as a guest on Mental Illness Happy Hour and have been a fan ever since. So grateful for this podcast.
