I can't tell you how much I enjoy this program. Amy and Peter have a fantastic chemistry and are truly entertaining. They've interviewed some incredible people and constantly make me laugh out loud. The previous reviews stating that too many ads run are just silly. There were 2 that I counted in the entire program. Don't listen to them and miss out on a great GLBT program. This one is tops! Wonderful job! Thank you for letting our voices be heard!
I am a new listener to this show and love the interaction with Peter and Amy and they have had some interesting shows. The content is really great and they have interviewed some great people. For those in the Chicago and nearby area they give out tickets to area shows which is great too.
Puts all the others to shame
If there only was one gay podcast you were able to download/listen to, make it the Windy City Queercast. It is head and sholders above every other queer podcast I've listened to, as well as many non-queer ones. The show is professionally conducted and produced, perhaps owing to the fact that the Queercast was on real radio before it was a podcast and the hosts have a lot of experience in this arena. There is some Chicago-oriented content each show, but it is truly national in scope, since they get some great guests, like Lynda Carter, Miss Cleo, Lucy Lawless, as well as people who address political and civil rights matters. I also love Amy and Peter's banter, silly as it gets sometimes.
