The magazines are amazing
Love The Monitor, but something is askew with iTunes
The Monitor is great. I look forward to it each week. However, somehow my iTunes does not update with new shows. Instead, I have to search for it and download the latest show individually, manually. I'm not sure if this is due to how they are publishing or labeling shows or with my individual iTunes account. But I do not have this issue with any other podcast.
Another critique is the music reviews. These seem to be focused mostly on Hip Hop and Rap. I'd love to see a large mix of genres. Even if that means that two releases need to be covered.
Keep the geek news coming. I'll continue to search and download manually if I have to.
Have to Stop
I've listened to The Monitor for about a year but it's been a struggle from the beginning. I love all things pop culture and Angela is great! The host, Peter, however is monotone and way too amused by himself. The show also presents as off the cuff and suffers for it. This last episode where Peter acknowledged that the three participants generally have the same background and view (but there is no plan to change that), and which devoted more than half the episode to an unfunny, irrelevant extended advertisement for an article of Peter's finally put me over the edge. I've cancelled my subscription.
