Unpredictable Topics; Predicable Awesome Radio
I like WOM because it always delivers a little of the unexpected. Consistently pieces I didn't know I would want to listen to, but am always glad I have.
ok, she is my sister but
i listen all the time. i LOVE the mix of topics they choose but mostly i love the DEPTH! i love the way they look at so many different aspects of even the mundane or ordinary things in this big world, and show texture and sound and history and character…i love they music they choose…i love that they stay curious…and they are all wicked funny.
You will love it!
Love Word of Mouth! I drive a lot and love podcasts. This is one of my favorites, up there with This American Life, Invisibilia, Radio Lab and Innovation Hub. I think of it as interesting stories for interesting people. The topics are hard to define. Pretty much everything one can be interested in and a big bunch of stuff that we did not think to be interested in because we did not know of it yet. I read books discussed on the show, got ideas for gifts, got inspired for my work (I study creativity) and above all got entertained. Word of Mouth is intelligent and playful and a terrific source of conversation topics. Give it a try! It will be one of those amazing discoveries you can’t stop talking about!
