Worst Gig Ever - Ep. 13 - Dave Witte

On the podcast Worst Gig Ever, Geoff Garlock (Orchid, Panthers, the Year Is One, Low Estate, UCB Theatre) wallows in the crapulance of what it takes to be a musician in this world, with different guests sharing their own hilarious horror stories every week. On this episode, Municipal Waste's drummer extraordinaire Dave Witte discusses how he needed to get contacts since his glasses would always get knocked off by moshing fans onstage, the record release show where the audience was silent, getting stuff stolen in South America, wanting to do a powerviolence record where he sings, why he thinks the Dave Matthews Band's drummer is a genius and of course, the craft beer that changed his life.

Worst Gig Ever - Ep. 12 - Bryan Giles & Aaron Beam (Red Fang)

On the podcast "Worst Gig Ever," Geoff Garlock (Orchid, Panthers, the Year Is One, Low Estate, UCB Theatre) wallows in the crapulance of what it takes to be a musician in this world, with different guests sharing their own hilarious horror stories every week. On this episode, Red Fang vocalist/guitarist Bryan Giles and vocalist/bassist Aaron Beam discuss irritating college students, crawdad-infested bathrooms, terrible spaghetti and that classic club smell "of old beer mixed with a cleaning agent." They also open up about that time they stayed at a stranger's place where the cat used the offered couch (and, really, the whole house) as its litter box, and they reveal the identity of "the Snuggle Bandit."

Great stuff

Really good. As someone else said already even if you don’t really know the acts the conversations are great.

Best gig ever

This podcast is great. Geoff is super knowledgeable about so many genres of music and really continues where the old podcast left off. More music and worst gig focused this time, but still very funny. Doesn’t matter if you are into the music or not, the discussions are interesting either way. Look forward to more of this.

Crazy good.

There is nothing better than a calm and collected host who can draw out the details of the interviewee so seemlessly.

On more than one instance I was hearing the interview, then suddenly I was actively listening to something new and thought provoking.

I listened to something amazing today.
