Great Debut!

Very informative look into the current booking culture in Seattle from the perspective of Indy musicians. Includes comparisons from the 90s through to today with fair criticisms and insights useful for any person interested in playing in and around the greater Seattle area. I expect even more great things from this podcast in the near future.

A must for Seattle/nw music scene geeks

Very intimate and deep look into the underground nw scene. Host is a true believer in the community, asks great questions in a relaxed and conversational tone. A mix of discovered or sourced music, interviews, and occasional longish editorializing mixed with personal soul searching. Since almost all of it relates closely to many perspectives on club driven music scene, we start to feel invited into a friendly conversation. I'm working my way backwards this summer and listening to each one. He's the podcast version of a struggling band!

Seattle music scene brought home

Through an hour long mix of interview and songs Seattle musician and artist the Zim explores where love of making music and the business of making music intersects. With inspiring discipline Alex pumps out an episode nearly every week so any particular NW musician is bound to find episodes featuring a band, individual artist, or industry professional they know, and several more they should know.
