Brad Stutts and Grant Sawyer, not only work behind the scenes in the world of Independent wrestling but are also lifelong friends and wrestling superfans, and now host this weekly chat discussing the subject they love the most: Professional wrestling. Whether it's WWE, TNA, Chikara, ROH, Shimmer, their home base of CWF Mid-Atlantic; or any other promotion, they bring their fresh perspective to the audience, without trashing the product. Join them and correspondent Matty De Nero for an informative, entertaining presentation! A lifelong wrestling fan and obsessive statistician, Grant Sawyer began his association with independent wrestling in the mid 1990’s. Having discovered a love of film and video in college, Grant established relationships with numerous local independent promotions to tape, edit and produce their events. Many of those relationships continue to this day and other new ones sprang up along the way as Grant became a prolific creator of content on the North Carolina independent circuit. Today the majority of his production work can be seen at CWF Mid-Atlantic’s official YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/cwfmidatlantic. Grant also enjoys films, comic books, his smokin’ hot wife and NFL football where he obsessively loves and follows all things related to the Green Bay Packers. You can follow him on Twitter at http://twitter.com/statmark. Brad Stutts began regularly attending local independent events in his home state of North Carolina at the age of 10. By age 15 he had established relationships with many Greensboro area wrestlers and was taking pictures at ringside, carrying jackets to the back and helping set up and break down rings. He began announcing at age 16 and now on the verge of turning 30 has nearly 15 full years of experience on the circuit. Like Grant, Brad resides in Burlington, North Carolina and works primarily for the CWF Mid-Atlantic organization at http://www.cwf247.com. Brad is a huge collector of wrestling magazines, figures and footage with thousands of DVD’s sprawled all over his house. In addition to wrestling he loves 80’s and 90’s sitcoms, sampling a burger from every restaurant he visits and spending time with his amazingly supportive wife. Wrestling fans need this podcast
Between Brad, Grant, and correspondent DeNero, pro wrestling gets a needed jolt of positivity with this breath of fresh air of an audio show. It's like listening to two friends at a bar, along with the comic book enthusiast DeNero's witty observations.
I look forward to listening to this show as it develops. My highest recommendation, provided profanity doesn't offend.
One of the "diamonds in the rough" in wrestling-themed podcasts. The hosts provide insightful, energetic discussions based on their experiences, both as fans and pro-wrestling insiders. Great work!
