Fantastic, well produced Bowie love!!!
I discovered this podcast on a whim early this morning, after a quick search for something new to listen to on my morning drive to work. I made it through one episode in the car, and had to immediately hear more. I wore my earbuds all morning and binged a few more episodes. This short series is GREAT!! I knew much of the info, but the presentation made it all appear new and oh so exciting. If you’re already a fan, or have just a passing interest, I can’t recommend this enough. I typically don’t get wrapped up in “celebrity hero worship”, but I cannot properly express how important the music of David Bowie has been to me throughout my life. It truly makes me happy to hear his art.

Year of the Bowie podcast is an excellent intro, refresher and all around epic true story of one of the greatest artists of our time - David Bowie. Each episode takes you on a fascinating journey of the legendary rise of Bowie... From his birth, unique influences, early struggles at fame, and iconic personas.
Episodes are thoroughly researched and feature actual songs and audio clips (many I've never heard before!) that paint a vivid picture of the surrounding culture of the time. I found the first episode particularly haunting.
One of the best audio/podcast biographies I've ever heard. David Bowie was/is a true rockstar, visionary and a legend who never gave up on his dreams.
