Hi, I'm Claudia Azula Altucher host of The Yoga Podcast. I've been a seeker of yoga for 15 years, and have traveled through India, Thailand and the Americas seeking truth and what works. I am also a writer and author of three books, including "21 Things To Know Before Starting An Ashtanga Yoga Practice", the co-author of the Wall Street Journal Best Selling book "The Power Of No", and the recently released "Become An Idea Machine". I've written for The New York Observer, Positively Positive, Mind Body Green, Yoga Mantra and Health and many other popular websites for the past five years. The Yoga Podcast is a sacred space where I talk with long-term, dedicated practitioners about living yoga with all of its eight branches, practicing, making money through it, teaching it with integrity, learning it with audacity and above all, understanding that nobody needs to be put on a pedestal, because the path to our own truth is lonely and personal, and we must choose the teachings that resonate within.

I thought Yoga was just for stretching and flexibility. This show has opened my eyes to how much more there is to it.
The guests go in depth on how to use Yoga as a means of getting in touch with your body, mind and breath. Non yogis will find some of the vocabulary confusing as its specific to Yoga study but I was able to follow the general thread.
Claudia creates a conversation rather than just a Q and A which I find makes for a nice listening experience. She’s curious about not just the persons teachings but about the person themselves. We learn by hearing about how they relate to Yoga in their lives or, more pointedly, how Yoga is their way of life.
Highly recommended to those looking to get use Yoga as a means of getting closer to themselves. Thanks Claudia!
Explores the philosophy behind forms of Yoga
This is a fascinating interview show. Claudia Azula Altucher interviews yoga masters in the various practices and their philosophies behind their practice. It encourages me to learn because I like to know the “whys” about what I am doing. Yoga can be such a spiritual practice and this podcast covers both the physical and spiritual. A great listen.
Claudia knows her stuff
If you want to get into Yoga, this is the place to start! Highly recommneded.
