Customer Reviews

Extremely helpful

I take my child to Dr Plimpton regularly and find his help to be excellent. This podcast is filled with helpful and practical advice. Dr Plimpton has vast knowledge that is (importantly) based in sound empirical science, and he also has a knack for both explaining and demonstrating things in a very accessible and pragmatically helpful way. This podcast gives great advice that I have been able to use immediately. And, as a parent, I listen to this podcast as a reminder of the approaches I should bring to my child and her anxiety.

One of a kind

Dr Plimpton has first hand experience with anxiety in children. He is a calm, caring person, and he is an expert in all areas of anxiety His nature is gentle and very personable which is extremely helpful for you and your child to feel you have someone that truly understands all of the numerous feelings that come along with raising children with anxiety. Dr Plimpton is worth traveling a distance for if you have a child with selective mutism or social phobia. He takes a hands on approach and has more that just textbook knowledge. Your child will like him and warm up to him quickly

Great Tools!

As a therapist, I think these pod casts are a wonderful resource. Particularly Episodes 2, 5, & 13 (so far!). I will share with my clients
