Description

Thursdays at noon, Virginia Green and Jim Scheppke share the rich history of Salem and the Willamette Valley. KMUZ 88.5 FM is a non-commercial, all-volunteer, listener-sponsored radio broadcaster whose mission is to stimulate, educate, and entertain our audience by reflecting the diverse cultural heritage and artistic expression of our region through locally generated programs. We aim to engage communities in the mid-Willamette Valley by sharing music, culture, news and information that celebrates our community, promotes civic responsibility, shows respect for different points of view, and gives attention to those without a voice in other media. Our broadcast area is north into Salem, south to Albany, west to Monmouth, and east to Stayton.
