Invite yourself to Charlie Brown's for dinner this Thanksgiving with A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Featuring two bonus episodes — "The Mayflower Voyagers" and "Play It Again, Charlie Brown" — and the chance to see Charlie Brown attempt (yet again) to kick that football, you won't want to miss this classic. So take a pilgrimage to your living room and join Snoopy, Woodstock, Linus, Sally and the rest of the gang. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving originally aired on November 20th, 1973 and won an Emmy Award for Writing. It was later re-mastered in 2008.

Worth every Penny

So much about holidays is overly commercial. But no matter what these specials made on a shoestring budget and written so simply manage to show the true meaning of the holidays. There are no fancy animations, no guest stars just the simple story of the holiday. Watching them Thanksgiving, Christmas, The great Pumpkin always helps me recover from the $99.99 aspect of the holidays.

Charlie Brown

Every year since I was a kid I would watch all of the Charlie Brown holiday specials. Now I can add them to my iTunes library. Thanks for the memories.

Touchdown!!!

We like this seasonal offering by Charles Schultz. He seemed to want to keep the holidays simple and not get caught up in the over-commercialization that American society has tagged onto the original traditions. My wife loves devoting an evening to watching this program, as well as the Charlie Brown Christmas special. Rightly identified as "CLASSIC".
