I've got this buddy that writes reviews....do you mind if he comes down and checks out the show? He's an expert on shows like this.
Use to be good
I really enjoy pawn stars when they're evaulating rare and interesting items. They have world class authorities at the ready to objectively appraise books, guns and other historically signifcant items. Unfortunately the show has drfited to this phony conflict between Grandpa (an owner) and Chumlee, a made for TV stooge.
Don't turn it into a reality show, please...
This season was more about the pawn stars than the items being pawned. Not the reason I watched and loved it. Also, I feel it is overpriced for the episode count.
