Off to a Slow Start

This season is definitely off to a very slow start. So far, only two episodes have aired. They were basically a really forced, awkward introduction of the new women. We've seen vapid dinner date conversations, Bravo reaching for something to connect all of the ladies (half the cast has slept with Aviva's ex hubby... that's the best they could do?), and a "drive-by" at lunch! All but two moments (Aviva's "3rd Leg," and Carole/Aviva shopping) have been boring, and - In my opinion - only Aviva and Carole remain on the island of likeable NYC housewives (I was dissapointed by Heather "Holla!" Thomson). They were pleasant, and genuinely interesting... I'm looking forward to seeing more of them. Despite the boring beginning, I'm giving season fiver a four star rating because, well, we ALL saw the trailer and season five will definitely not dissappoint. That's the main reason, but on top of that, RHONYC has and will aways have a special place in my heart. It is literally the most ridiculous of the entire franchise, and despite all the wealth, the trashiest. The show is basically a garbage bag wearing a Marc Jacobs fur and Louis Vuitton heels (flashback to Alex vs Luann, season 4). At the end of the day, I think the show will stay true to its ridiculous nature, and like I said, the trailer gives me tons of hope that this season will end up being just as good as any of the previous.

The reunion part 1 looks available to buy but when clicking on it it says "this item no longer available for purchase". What gives?!

Rumor Has It..

I have always loved the new york housewives and was so disappointed to hear that they were heading in a new direction. I heard Jill was fired because she was asking for too much money, which is so upsetting because she will always be my favorite of any city. I'm so happy Alex was fired… she was such a hypercritical social climber and she and her husband were so unbelievably creepy together. Kelly was psychotic period. Cindy was only part of the cast for a season so there wasn't really much too loose with letting her go. It was rumored that Bravo wanted to bring back the "high class" and luxury that Luann Ramona (vomit) and Sonja offered. They all lived on the Upper East Side and have homes in the Hamptons, Alex was fired from her actual job at Victoria's Secret, Jill (along with asking for too much money) seemed to be cutting back on the extravagance and Kelly and Cindy were more "downtown". The main reason for the major change is that the women made production an absolute nightmare.. Everyone would scream over each other and nothing could be organized, especially on the reunion. All of the women didn't get along with someone for whatever reason so Bravo decided to trim the fat and make production less of a headache. All in all I really love the new season… Aviva completely won me over but Heather seems off for some reason. She doesn't seem to know how to function at social events and is just awkward to watch… Carole's story really touched me and she seems like she will fit in nicely.
