I really enjoyed all the episodes in the first year and have watched them several times because they are cute, funny and full of quirkiness. However, this second season doesn’t seem to match the first.
I get the first two episodes where Will is struggling with his girlfriend, New York and loneliness.. that was dealt with in a well written way with him going back to CA, the third episode was classic first year, cute and fun, but there was still something missing and I realized its the boy.
The main character of the show.. he’s growing up and what used to be cute and quirky, still is to a certain extent.. however he is also showing obnoxiousness of a teenager, which I don’t like because I can watch that in any other show on television.
His obnoxious behavior with Andy was no longer cute, but just annoying. The last episode with the ‘bad girl’ influencing Marcus wasn’t one I liked either. There was no amusing, quirky fun watching with some level of seriousness in the background. It was all seriousness with a couple of quirks thrown in…. I get it, this show is ‘about a boy’ and he’s growing up, but if he grows up with this continuous obnoxious attitude, he’s not one I want to watch.
Overall, I’m hoping this season picks up because i had already bought the season pass but I wish I had waited and bought individual episodes.
This show is so funny and great to watch with whole family! I like how it's more of how families are now days but it still works. This little boy gets love from his Mom and his best friend Will. Awesome story my families new favorite show!!!
