Just another season in the Land of Ooo. Ooor is it? Jake’s a daddy now and has a litter of pups to raise. Let’s hope it’s not too much of a stretch (get it?!) for him. Finn’s a celebrity hero in need of anonymity, but will he take his low profile too far? What time is it? Time for Five. Five More Short Graybles, that is! Speaking of sequels, Fionna and Cake are back for another flippy-floppy special episode. And The Lich is on the loose! Will this spell the end for Finn, Jake and the Land of Ooo as we know it?!!!!!!!! I can’t even put enough exclamation points on that last sentence.

The Weirdest Show on Television Still Going Strong

First of all, let me say that Adventure time is not for everyone. In fact, it's somewhat of an acquired taste, in that most people will have to watch several episodes before they get it. This extra long special was thoroughly stange and confusing, but actually managed to be one of the show's most suspensful episodes. By the end of the episode, you'll be staying up at night trying to figure out exactly what it was that just happened. For the more observant fans, this episode actually answers a question or two about the history of Ooo as an alternate, post-apocalyptic version of Earth.
This show has managed to win over many fans over the years with it's unusual script, strange pacing, and utterly bizzare and confusing stories and cast of characters. The way that most of the show's soundtrack consists of expirimental Ambient Electronic music (A style often intentionally lacking in rhyme or beat) further shows the disturbing randomness of the show. This show can never decide wether to be cute orr horribly disturbing, which I suppose was Ward's original idea, and so as a result, it makes constand startling transitions between the two. Fans will probably eat up the many hidden story points in this special. Adventure Time will always be a unique, thoroughly weird creation that some will hate and some will love.

Timely delivery

Yay! It's finally out!!!! I have been sooo bored with out this show, college is fun and all but this show reminds me about being a knuckle-headed kid again. Thumbs up ;P

There really is no other show on TV quite like "Adventure Time". It's a bizarre, surreal, and entirely random cartoon that most people will never truly comprehend. Watching an episode is like going on an unpredictable trip into pure madness. You think the story's gonna be headed in one specific direction, then BAM, it knocks you square in the jaw with a startlingly unexplainable ending. Along with a tripped-out cast of technicolor characters, a lucid soundtrack full of experimental beats, and some hilariously nonsensical dialogue, it's no wonder why this enjoyably weird series has grown such a massive following since its premiere back in 2010. If you've never seen an episode of "Adventure Time", now's the best time to do so. It may not appeal to the most serious viewers, but for those of you that just love deadpan comedy, rapid action, and utter strangeness, this should be your cup of tea.
