USA’s newest original series, Royal Pains, centers on young doctor Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) who seems to have it all ... thriving career, beautiful girlfriend, and swank NYC apartment. With one fateful and principled decision in the ER, Hank loses it all. Months later, single and blacklisted from the medical community, Hank goes for a weekend in the Hamptons with his brother (Paulo Costanzo). Crashing a party at a mega-mansion on the beach, Hank jumps into action when a guest requires medical attention that only he is able to diagnose. The next morning, Hank is summoned to another mansion . . . and then another. Hank's career is revived, but in a way he's not exactly happy about, as he becomes a "doctor for hire" to the rich, famous, and infamous. When the attractive administrator of the local hospital asks him to treat the town's less fortunate, he finds himself walking the line between doing well for himself and doing good for others.

One of the best shows ever!!!!
This is a really good show!!! If you like medical shows like House, this is the show for you!!! I cant wait to see the rest of the season!!! This definatly deserves five stars!!!
I dont know how USA keeps coming up with the best series on TV. I cant wait until Psych and Monk premier. Then Burn Notice and Royal Pains will be on on Fridays and then Monk and Psych on Fridays. This show is a perfect compliment to Burn Notice with just the right amount of drama, comedy, action, and sex. I cant wait to see how long these amazing shows stay on the air.
Quality New Show
A great follow up to Burn Notice on the Thursday time slot. I watched the premier that night and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. It has a good combination of humor and serious moments and it should be great to see how everything unfolds. Recommended especially to any fans of Burn Notice, if the pilot is any indication they are similar in style, or fans of the USA network.
