American Dad, Season 2TV-14Closed Captioning

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV shows.

The hilarity continues this season when Stan becomes a street racer to impress Francine and tries to put the spice back into their marriage. The Smiths breathe a sigh of relief when Steve heads off to camp — until they realize it's a refugee camp. Meanwhile, Haley and Jeff break up, and it takes a trip through the Dungeons and Dragons world of Steve and his friends to get them back together — and then break them up again.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! THIS IS A REVIEW OF AMERICAN DAD, NOT FAMILY GUY! sheesh! review american dad here, not family guy. every1 knows that itunes never reads these or the imixs, so shut up with the petition! if they dont have it, its because they cant get the rights to sell them, not because they dont like it. if they could theyd make a killing. SHUDDDUP ALREADY!

Satire is an art

I find that American Dad is a brilliant satire on all of those who think themselves patriotic for the "my country right or wrong" sentiments. It explores the pitfalls of such a mindset with great alacrity and the juxtaposition with the German guy in the fish body and Roger the really illegal alien living in the attic with Stan's attitudes towards homosexuals,"others" and the Republican party is a great look at the schizophrenia that is the American voting public. The other 70% can enjoy the show too!

Great show

I had to laugh when Seth said he wanted to create something different from Family Guy when he was making American Dad. Ummm...okay. I guess the joke is on us, but it still works. It's part Archie Bunker, part Family Guy and has moments of pure genius. (Roger is one of the funniest characters in animated TV). To me, American Dad feels like it more of a complete story arc than you get from the stitched together sketches of Family Guy (which I also love). Now if we can get the first season, I'm set.
