Fraud sources for "Scientology"
I've read enough about Hubbard's religion and actually know some Scientologists well enough to see that the "au fait sources" used in this episode are nothing more than embittered apostates of the church who overly dramatize their "experiences" within the group. This seems to be a poor rehashing of the same tabloid crap published years past on the faith.
Don't waste your money on the show.
It’s something you would fall asleep to if there were nothing on, except you keep getting woken up by the emotive language and ’scary’ music. Nothing but a bunch of magazine clippings, stock photography and video, grating sound effects and repetitive BS. I live in Hollywood and could make this on an iPhone in the time it takes to watch. If you’re curious about scientology, look on the Web with this in the background (if that). Fifteen minutes and you’re an expert. The weird thing is, this wasn’t really critical or informative in the least. I’d actually call it an advertisement. Wouldn’t pay ten cents for the next episode!
“Critics way too harsh...” 5 Star Show!
So we're not talking about highly budgeted reality TV... Is that really a reason to bash it with one star? So many Americans have become so enamored with “Survive on Islands with a stick and a tube of glue” rather than regular documentaries that are entertainingly educational like this one. The episode on America’s Gold is really good. For decision making, try buying that one first. Thanks for reading!!
