Life is all about balance. So what happens when you throw a new baby into it? Reagan (Christina Applegate) and her husband, Chris (Will Arnett), are the proud new parents of baby Amy. She may have been unexpected, but life’s curve balls can be a godsend, literally. But with a career and boss (Maya Rudolph) that need attention, Reagan’s the one going back to work while Chris is going to be the stay-at-home dad. Easy, right? Well, not quite. Determined to prove that she can be the perfect wife, mother, and career woman, Reagan spins a little out of control. But she eventually realizes that Amy is her new number one priority and everything (except maybe Chris) is going to take a backseat to their new bundle of joy. Maybe you can have it all… as long as you’re willing to lose some sleep!

first one to comment. looks like a great show
Look who's talking potty mouth ...
I enjoyed the friction generated between the three adult characters with a newborn sort of stuck in the middle of it all. Look Who's Talking it is not. But if you are looking for a parenting comedy with a distinctly raw, "potty-mouth" realistic feeling to it, this might be the one for you. I confess that the sneak peek had me laughing out loud in places; that's a good sign. However, the Description didn't impress me that much. After reading it, I thought to myself, "This won't last more than a season." But who knows, with the right chemistry of characters and humorous plot, this might turn out to be a "Seinfeld" sleeper to anticipate each week for years to come. Or at least until the baby starts talking.
This is real!
This will really be a fun show! First of all I love anything with Christina Applegate in it.....I'm not familiar with the guy playing Chris but he is perfect with Christina! There are scenes in this trailer that make me laugh out loud, and a lot of that is because they bring back memories of when my kids were babies. I think there are a lot of career moms, still trying to cling to their "regular" live's although wanting also to be a good parent, that will just love this! New dads will love it because they can laugh and breath easier knowing that what they are going through is SO common that there is a TV show about it. There types of shows, like Seinfeld, and in my case Murphy Brown, which was on when I was a career gal having my babies, they make us laugh at ourselves and helps us to lighten up. If you can laugh at yourselves during the unbelievably tough times, you can get through anything and inevitably not only be a better person, but also be able to help your kids through it when THEY are parents! Awwwwwww, being a grandparent is so sweet, especially after watching this trailer! :-)
