Description

At last sight, writer-turned-private-eye Jonathan Ames (Jason Schwartzman) was duking it out in the dean's office, (almost) saving Super Ray from a stalker, and endorsing George's decision to resign from his glossy magazine gig. Now, he's about to come face-to-face with 'furries,' hang with Dick Cavett, and undertake the ultimate oedipal investigation in Season 3 of this riotous series. Now living in the topmost apartment in Brooklyn's iconic Williamsburgh Bank Tower, Jonathan continues to put his sleuthing skills to the test for myriad clients--including himself as he goes in search of his biological father. Meanwhile, stoner/mentor George (Ted Danson) opens a restaurant while crackpot cartoonist Ray (Zach Galifianakis) deals with a divorced lesbian couple who bought his black-market sperm.

Great Show … Now Gone

Another hilarious show gone too soon.

Should have stopped at season 2

What started out as passable hipster comedy turned into something akin to saturday morning cartoons for 20 somethings...the third season suffered from a lack of anything that even resembled clever.
