Breaking Bad, Season 4HDTV-14

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV shows.

In Season 3's finale, Jesse (Aaron Paul) was on the run, with Mike (Jonathan Banks) in hot pursuit, while Walt (Bryan Cranston) negotiated for his life with Gus (Giancarlo Esposito). In a desperate attempt to escape certain death, Walt concocted a disturbing plan — kill his former lab assistant Gale — to provide for his and Jesse’s safety. The scheme ultimately forced Jesse to Gale’s doorstep with a gun while Walt was held hostage in the Superlab. This season, Walt and Jesse must cope with the fallout both personally and professionally. Tension mounts as Walt faces a true standoff with his employer, Gus, with neither side willing or able to back down. Walt must also adjust to a new relationship with Skyler (Anna Gunn), whom while still reconciling her relationship with Walt, is committed to properly laundering Walt’s money and ensuring her sister Marie (Betsy Brandt) and an ailing Hank (Dean Norris) are financially stable.

Best. TV. Show. Period!

The best acted, best written drama on TV today. Period. An ordinary man is slowly and inexorably turned into a monster, but we still empathize and root for him. The plotting and pace and are believable and logical. All the actors, especially Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, are brilliant. I hope we get Vince Giilligan's "Wrap Ups" like last season. Can't wait for Season 4!

Surprisingly Good!

I NEVER thought that I would like this show, but a friend of mine convinced me to give it a chance. I did and I was addicted after the first episode. It's not for the faint of hurt in some episodes, but still totally worth an hour a week of your time. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul's acting is unbelievably brilliant!

Incredibly addictive

This show is as addictive as the meth that is it's subject matter. Excellent acting, especially by the supporting actors. Do yourself a favor and start from season one. Often disturbing, this show is not for the squeamish. What's more disturbing is that the moral decline of the characters is so sympathetically portrayed that you just might go there with them. I was shocked to find myself, at the end of season three, rooting on the murder of a sweet and gentle man.

And so I'm new to buying shows on iTunes. I watched the first three shows on a subscription sight and needed my fix so bad that I had to buy season four here. I really wish I had known that buying the shows in SD costs a dollar less per episode! There's no reason to pay extra for HD, which is of course what pops up first.
