Description

The teen years can be brutal, especially when you’re Buffy Summers (Sara Michelle Gellar) – a Sunnydale High school student destined to slay supernatural, blood-sucking baddies instead of hanging out at the mall. Over the seven seasons of this thrilling, witty show, Buffy struggles to maintain allies in the fight against evil, while also engaging in on-off romances with a moody vampire (David Boreanaz) or two (James Marters). Now you can get all 144 episodes of one of the smartest, funniest, most action-packed series every to slay on the small screen – also starring Alyson Hannigan, Anthony Head and Nicholas Brendon.

HD

Please dear Jesus make this the HD 1080p version. You already have the SD version on here. I will not pay $60 for the set in regular format. I’d pay $80-$100 for HD tho! Come on! Please! Please please!

Favorite Series Ever

BtVS is one of the best series ever created. It's a show about relationships, growing up, overcoming obstacles, and making your own way in the world. But with more monsters and Big Bads. And I love that it turns the trope of the defenseless young woman onto its head. The show really begins to bit its stride in seasons two and three. Standout episodes throughout the series include "Becoming Pts. 1 and 2," "Graduation Day Pts. 1 and 2," "Hush," "The Body," and "Once More with Feeling."

The Scoobies will forever be my favorite demon-vanquishing heroes. This show never quite received the accolades it was due, but that doesn't lessen its impact or legacy. Excellent writing, interesting characters that never devolve into stereotypes, and compelling plotlines. My other favorite series include The Wire, Twin Peaks, The Leftovers, Breaking Bad, and The X-Files, but Buffy will forever top that list. And the entire series for $60 is an amazing price! If you're on the fence, just do it! You won't regret it.

Please more standard definition!

So this is Buffy so it gets 5 stars. Because Buffy. Because Joss. So excited for the $29.99 sale. My only complaint is that it’s widescreen. That’s right I’d like to pay for this show in the glorious 4:3 ratio it aired in. Joss Whedon shot and edited this show in 4:3 ratio and that’s how it should be viewed. For years cinephiles viewed home movies with black bars on top and bottom. I’d love to enjoy Buffy with black bars on the sides! Keep the 90’s/early aughts true! On a show that you can pause and see the face of a stunt double (I’m looking at you lunch “lady”) it would be a plus to view the glory of BTVS in glorious 4:3 ratio standard definition.
