Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam AxeHDTV-PGClosed Captioning

Description

Before Sam Axe teamed up with Michael and Fiona, he was Commander Axe, U.S. Navy SEAL. The Fall of Sam Axe tells the story of how Sam went from respected Naval Commander to the man of mystery we’ve come to know on Burn Notice. On what will turn out to be Sam’s last military mission, he is sent to the jungles of Colombia to investigate claims of a vicious terrorist organization known only as the “Espada Ariente” (Flaming Sword). His mission: to determine whether U.S. military aid is necessary to deal with the threat. But when he arrives, things are more complicated than he’d imagined. He receives word that the rebels have targeted a small civilian clinic deep in the jungle. Sam must now save the clinic’s doctors and patients from certain death. However, nothing is as it seems and the Espada Ardiente may not be the biggest threat Sam Axe faces.

Loved the Show!

Since nobody feels like giving a review about the actual movie...I will.

This is a great prequel to Burn Notice, lots of the BN comedy mixed with the seriousness of the crimes that were occuring in the movie. It wasn't predictable, which was a relief, and I loved the Weston cameo and Fiona references. Although there are several plot points that made me laugh. In Early episodes of BN, Sam was the funny guy, surely annoying at times, but never very good at co-op behavior. This progresses the more he is with Michael. In the movie, it seemed that Sam was all pro at doing the spy thing, building bombs and pretending to be somebody he was not. I had to remind myself that I was watching a movie about Sam Axe, not Michael Weston. I also pondered if Amanda, the girl interest was the same Amanda that Sam was married to.

If you like Burn Notice, you will enjoy this movie.
Just don't purchase it on iTunes. It's too expensive.

Too Much!

This thing is basically a two-parter, yet they charge 15 dollars for it? It should only cost 6 bucks... and it would be nice if they included it in the season 5 season pass when it becomes available.

LOVED the episode, but $10.00? Really?

I wanted to go ahead and give this one five stars so the rating wouldn't suffer due to the cost. I caught it on TV, and it was a great episode, but really iTunes? $9.99 for 2 TV episodes? I came to check out the show because I had every intention of DLing it, but I don't feel like spending $9.99 for it. Two installments of $1.99 would have been acceptible.
