This intense, twist-filled, and breakneck-paced series takes a three-pronged approach as a legal thriller, gripping murder mystery, and adrenaline-fueled character study, delving into and illuminating the characters' personal lives. The first season focuses on the Frobisher case and the murder mystery involving Ellen's discussion in the interrogation room and its subsequent offshoots. But the show also delves into character-driven stories that examine the players' personal lives. However, the series' central focus will remain the relationship between Patty and Ellen, and whether the mentor will fuel her protégé's success, or destroy her soul.
