Description

"The Doctor" returns, alongside newlyweds Amy and Rory, to face monsters and mysteries and adventures all across time and space. Together they’ll find themselves in sixties America, battling the invasion the world forgot, then journey on the high seas of 1696 aboard a pirate ship, to solve the mystery of the Siren. In a bubble universe at the very edge of reality, the Doctor will meet an old friend with a new face, and in a monastery on a remote island in the near future, an industrial accident will take on a terrible human shape. And waiting for them, at the end of all this, is the battle of Demon’s Run, and the Doctor’s darkest hour. Can even the truth about River Song save the Time Lord’s soul?

Fantastic!!

My first Season Pass. It's just that important to have my Doctor Who.

I have actually seen the first two eps, and I'll tell you.... they were brilliant! Absolutely wonderful. Engaging, scary, suspenseful, exciting, fun, terrifying, everything you hope and more.

Re: Part 1 -- the season will be split into 2 parts: 7 episodes then 6 more after a summer break. The Moff assures us this will be a good thing, we get 2 openers and 2 finales and painfully delicious cliffhangers all over the place. He just giggled with glee at the thought of what episode 7's cliffhanger will do to fans. Can't wait!

Season 6 Part 1 is 7 episodes

FYI - Wikipedia lists Season 6 part one as episodes 1-7 and part 2 as episodes 8-13. We will probably have to pay around $17 for the last half of the season, making the whole season $37 which is $4 or $5 more than last year (?).

Season pass=fail

I guess I thought things might be different this time around but no—they are not. Episodes become available to download and season pass owners get them whenever the iTunes staff feel like it.
