Remember when you buy this anime, you are encouraging the market to have more great anime on iTunes. I'd like to think that someone at iTunes actually saw all the requests for the "good" anime like Death Note (and Bleach). There is a HUGE market in the anime category - and *someone* will fill the demand. The only question to the studios is whether or not they want to make money off it. They can put their heads in the sand while people watch the shows online for free (although with somewhere between crappy to horrible resolution) , or they can offer these shows in a quality download at iTunes, which most people will pay for. DVDs are yesterday technology. Thank you iTunes and Viz for offering quality, legal, and downloadable anime.
This is a materpiece.
This anime is brilliant. It delves into the mind and leaves you wondering about the human persona. Although it has a supernatural theme, the characters, plot, and everything about it seem so plausible and realistic it's mind boggling. If you've never liked anime before, it doesn't matter. This is beyond anime, animation, etc. It's truely entertaining art at its finest and enjoyable by nearly anyone. Not to mention its metaphores to human nature are very thought-provoking. I reccommend this to everyone that likes suspense and a little humor. If you like a well thought-out plot, this is for you. Overall, I think it can be enjoyed by everyone. This is by far one of my personal favorite television/anime/mangas, ever.
